Anxiety

Multiple people that I know, including myself, suffer from anxiety at some point in their life. Some more than others but it still plays a role in all of our lives. You can defeat anxiety, you can get your life back, and you can become completely at peace with whatever is on your mind. The only way to get full peace and relief from anxiety is Jesus. Let’s be honest, we can take medication that helps calm us and balance the hormones in our brains, but you will always feel there is an empty hole in your heart if you do not have Jesus in your life to help you through these times.

I had a hard season not too long ago and I had to get on medication to help me through it. It definitely helped calm me down and allowed me to focus on other things than crying over my current situation. But honestly, I was still missing a vital part. I started pursuing Jesus with everything I had. It did not happen overnight but I got to a point of complete peace with God that I was able to get off the medication and be calm in my storm. Once I gave all my stress, worry, anxiety, fears, and anger to God, I was at peace knowing he was capable of fighting my battle, he could do things I couldn’t even dream of.

Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let you requests be made known to God.”

1 Peter 5:7 ” Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

We are not to live with anxiety, we are not to let it consume our life and souls. We do not have a fight a battle that God has already won. He knows how it will go and he knows how to help us through it. We try to do things on our own so much as humans and its things that God has already taken care of. He is here for us and wants to give us these great gifts he has created. Friends, do not allow Satan to make you think you are alone in this world and will forever live with anxiety. You are worth more than that and you deserve to be free and have peace over your life. Let Jesus take the wheel while you sit back and enjoy the ride.

Much love,
Charity

You definitely put a new twirl on a subject that’s been written about for years. Noteworthy stuff, just extraordinary! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think, thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner too. If you have a opportunity check out my website. It’s a work in progress, but I suppose that someday it will have nearly as good of content as yours. kelly kosky
